The Ifugao Global Forest City Movement, Inc. seeks to attain the following objectives, in cooperation with all government agencies, NGOs, foundations and foreign agencies:

1. Identify, maintain, propagate and conserve the forest reserves of Ifugao

2. Use the traditional Igugao forest management and preservation system, namely, "Pinugo", "Muyong" system in the identified forest areas based on the ancestral claims of the indigenous people of Ifugao;
3. Conduct community-based seminars and information campaign on traditional forest management for the purpose of maintaining the watershed which are the sources of water for irrigation of the farmlands, rice terraces and water to generate electric power;
4. Organize, set-up and manage nursery pilot projects in Ifugao.
4.1 To produce a variety of seedlings needed in the forest conservation;
4.2 Conduct research/experimentation on fast growing trees needed for the forest conservation;
4.3 To propagate major trees that are at the brink of extinction and which are the main raw materials for the wood carving industry;
4.4 To establish networking with neighboring provinces that still have trees which are already extinct in Ifugao for its preservation and propagation; and
4.5 To enable the people to have ready access of trees needed in the forest conservation at reasonable and affordable prices.
5. Assist in uplifting the economic, health and environmental life of the people of Ifugao:
5.1 Launch the Green Yellow Gold Mine Program. This program calls for food security while waiting for the trees to mature for commercial purposes;
5.2 Organize the Hungduan Woodcraft Livelihood Center;
5.3 Train the people to produce export quality products with the distinct Ifugao art;
5.4 Act as the show window of the Ifugao art of wood-carving.
5.5 Accept orders to be sub-contracted to the people of Ifugao, thus providing them work and reasonable income.
6. Contract the services of trained personnel to assist in the management and operation of nursery and livelihood projects.
